To The Table Co-Parenting Supports Families Navigating Shared Parenting

The Early Childhood Resource Center is hosting a three-part To The Table series focused on helping parents and caregivers navigate the challenges of co-parenting. The free sessions will take place June 25, August 11, and October 9 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the center’s Akron office, 915 N. Main Street.

Co-parenting can be complex, as communication breakdowns, differing parenting styles, and scheduling challenges can create stress for both parents and children. To The Table offers a supportive, judgment-free space where families and community voices can come together to share experiences and learn practical strategies.

The series includes:

  • June 25: Co-Parenting Under One Roof: Explore communication, shared responsibilities, and maintaining healthy family dynamics while living together. Click here to register.
  • August 11: Co-Parenting with the Community: Examine the role of teachers, coaches, caseworkers, and mentors in supporting families. Click here to register.
  • October 9: Co-Parenting with Family: Discuss how extended family members support children and influence family dynamics. Click here to register.

All sessions include light refreshments and child care.
