Who is eligible?
TANF-eligible families who live in Summit County and have household incomes at or below the 200% of the federal poverty level, who are sending their children to summer camp and want to be reimbursed for the cost of camp.
How do I apply?
A family that would like to apply for the School's Out for Summer! Summer Camp Reimbursement will need to fill out the Parent/Guardian Application to apply.
How
long will it take to know if I was approved?
TANF
approvals can take up to 5 business days before the information is passed
on to the Early Childhood Resource Center. Once we have an approval in hand we
will begin the reimbursement process.
My application would not submit. What should I do?
If you are
having trouble submitting the application, please make sure that all required
fields have been answered. If you still encounter issues, try using a different browser.
How will I receive the reimbursement?
All reimbursements will be processed via check and sent to the mailing address provided on the application.
Does
my reimbursement check have to be mailed?
If needed, we can work with you on a case-by-case basis to set up a time for you to pick up your reimbursement check at our office.
I do not have access to reliable internet to apply. Where can I get help?
We can work with the summer camp and our
office to find a location for you to apply using a computer.
Does my child need to live in Summit
County?
The child does not need to live in Summit County, but the parent/guardian must live in Summit County. However, the child must be an Ohio resident.
Does the Summer Camp need to be located
in Summit County?
No, the summer camp does not need to be in Summit County.
I submitted the application and I think I entered the information wrong. Can I fix it?
