Why Give to the ECRC?


You have a chance to make a huge impact.

Meet Kate a single mom and full-time student with two children under age 5. She brings her children each week to participate in SPARK (Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids) a program that helps her children get ready for kindergarten at the Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC). Plus they attend ECRC’s Inspiration Station programs to help spark their imagination and promote learning.

Kate herself interacts with other parents as she attends classes at the center. Parenting classes at ECRC – made possible by the support of friends like you – give Kate the communication skills, knowledge and patience which are helping her to be the mom she wants to be. All of these programs are available for Kate and any other Stark County family who needs them regardless of ability to pay.   Continue reading here.
