Why Give to the ECRC?

Breaking the cycle of poverty begins at birth...

Children's brains develop more rapidly in the first three years than any other time in their lives, shaping future health, happiness, growth and development.  High quality early education and care builds a strong foundation for intellectual, physical and social/emotional development, so young children start ready to learn.  Children who start school prepared are more likely to graduate high school, go to college and be more productive members of the workforce.

Since 2000, The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC) has been dedicated to strengthening early childhood experiences by serving thousands of teachers, child care providers, parents and children each year through:

  • Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids (SPARK)
  • Professional Development
  • Family Programs
  • Parent Education Programs
  • Community Outreach
  • Advocacy

Because we are a nonprofit community organization, much of our support comes from foundations, businesses, and individuals just like you. We need you to help us continue providing the life-changing early learning opportunities that all of our community’s families deserve.  Thank you for your support!
