Seussical Celebration!

In March, the ECRC celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a full month of Seussical inspired activities. Children and families participated in a Dr. Seuss reading program where they recorded all the books they read over the month on a Dr. Seuss hat. The best part of the Seussical celebration included a Dr. Seuss themed birthday party with green eggs, made with spinach (not food coloring) and ham and a pancake birthday cake with blueberry syrup and fruity cereal pieces on top for families who participated in the reading program. Over the month, children got to explore Dr. Seuss’ books by engaging in hands-on activities and learning centers built around Dr. Seuss’ silly books.
