Family Child Care

Since January 2000, the Sisters of Charity Foundation has provided financial support for a quality enhancement project for family child care providers in Stark County. Our goal is to improve the quality of home-based child care by offering training, resources and technical assistance.

Today our project has expanded immensely to include a wide array of services and professional opportunities for family child care providers in our county. Our support services will help you…

  • Start your business with confidence through training, access to free consultation and resources
  • Enhance your program curriculum by utilizing our free monthly curriculum support classes and toy/resource library which includes a wide array of books, developmental equipment, and professional resources. (Membership application below)
  • Improve the quality of your child care by accessing scholarships to obtain Accreditation from the National Association of Family Child Care
  • Network with other individuals through the support of our local provider association and events
  • Connect with the latest research and best practices in the field of family child care
  • Access to consultation and support through our free family child care hotline

For more information on how you can access these services, please call (330) 491-3272 Ext. 224 or by email.
