Sprout Learning

Sprout Learning is a retail brand of the Early Childhood Resource Center, a non-profit agency located in Ohio working to improve the quality of education and care for young children ages birth-8.

Sprout Learning backpacks were made possible by a grant from SPARK (Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids), an initiative originally funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in partnership with the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton. Profits from the sale of the early learning backpacks support professional development, resources, and support services for teachers, caregivers and parents in our region.

Each backpack uses a thematic approach to incorporating learning in each of the four Early Learning Content Standard areas in addition to topics that support social and emotional development. Activity guides provide easy to follow instructions, along with growth tips, home connections, and a variety of ideas to stimulate conversation and support childrens' learning beyond the backpack.

A recent addition to the collection includes 12 NEW Little Sprouts backpacks. Similar to the preschool backpacks, Little Sprouts backpacks use a thematic approach to incorporating learning in each of the developmental domains. Built to support Ohio's Infant Toddler Guidelines, these backpacks give parents and caregivers easy to follow activities and home connections to make learning fun and easy.
